EthicalCargo.org provides guidance and support to air cargo, brokering, charter, freight-forwarding and maritime companies involved in humanitarian aid and peace support logistics operations seeking to adopt an ethical transportation policy.

The clearinghouse offers a range of online services and training programs which are designed to support air cargo industry actors with the following:

• Information on the principles and ethical standards upon which humanitarian and peace-support operations are based
• How to formulate ethical transportation policies to take account of the requirements of conflict-sensitive logistics programs
• The various UN, EU, OECD and humanitarian aid-related documents and guidelines which may be referenced and integrated into an ethical transportation policy
• Ethical Code of Conduct templates which may be adapted and adopted by air cargo and maritime companies
• The company procedures and mechanisms necessary for transparency, due diligence and ethical audit protocols.
