"Clearing the Air" highlights the role air transport plays in African conflicts as well as the positive steps the humanitarian aid community has taken to reduce the risk of hiring companies involved in arms trafficking.

EthicalCargo trailer
EthicalCargo has also produced a 1 minute trailer to raise awareness of air cargo companies which ship weapons, narcotics and blood minerals to and from African conflict zones.

E-learning
EthicalCargo has developed a 60-90 minute e-learning module. This assesses air cargo service providers against ethical criteria. The module is aimed at logisticians working in humanitarian operations in the field and at head office. It is based around the practical tool of a model risk assessment matrix. The e-learning is currently English-language only.

ECHO formally adopts Ethical Procurement guidelines
The Humanitarian Aid department of the European Commission (ECHO) formally adopted its ethical procurement guidelines in June 2011. ECHO's guidelines contain sections dedicated to conflict sensitive logistics and ethical transportation, citing EthicalCargo as a resource. ECHO's new guidelines are now accessible in a user-friendly format at http://ec.europa.eu/echo/about/actors/procurement_guidelines_en.htm
