In this e-learning module on Ethical Risk Assessment participants learn how to assess air cargo service providers against ethical criteria. The module is based around a model Risk Assessment Matrix and on information provided by companies themselves or obtained from open-sources.
The module takes between 60 and 90 minutes to complete and is made up of learning pages and corresponding questions on the material.
The module is aimed primarily at logisticians working in humanitarian operations. Logisticians working at head office will find the module useful as background to discussions with brokers or freight-forwarders (indirect procurement). Logisticians working in the field, where negotiating with an air cargo operator is more common, will find the module of practical use in direct procurement.
